SpaceX exhibit opening March 12

Walk underneath a massive Falcon 9 rocket at Space Center Houston this spring break! Beginning at 11 a.m. March 12,  get a close look at this exciting new feat of engineering.

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday morning, guests are invited to explore the SpaceX rocket exhibit.

The Falcon 9 is displayed horizontally so guests can see the entire rocket. Guests can study the grid fins near the top of the rocket, the scorch marks from reentry during the CRS-11 and CRS-13 missions, the Merlin engines, the landing legs and more!

We can’t wait to share this unique exhibit! In the meantime, check out some photos of the rocket in its new permanent position.
