Transcend the ordinary with the launch of our stellar new event series, Space News & Brews! Each event will take place at a different local Houston brewery and feature lightning talks by space industry experts—and maybe even an astronaut or two!
The first event in this series is at True Anomaly Brewing Co. in East Downtown, Houston. Founded by four rocket scientists, True Anomaly beer is inspired by their work and space exploration. Beer names include “Rocket Park Pale Ale,” “Skylab American IPA” and more! Grab one and enjoy a lively discussion led by experts in space exploration like retired NASA astronaut Dominic “Tony” A. Antonelli!

About True Anomaly Brewing Co.
It’s a twist on a familiar narrative: four guys start out in a garage with some brewing equipment and a dream — and after hundreds of test batches, learn to hone their craft. Though, this group may have had a bit of a leg up, coming from a background as former rocket scientists, space-suit developers and mission managers. What started in the garage has grown into True Anomaly and their lineup of out-of-this-world beer recipes. Inspired by a shared fascination with science, outer space, and the energy, history, and all-around awesomeness that is Houston, Texas, we set out to brew beers that are original, delicious, and just a little (or a lot) off the mean trajectory. Admission
This event is $10 per person. Your ticket gets you access to the event, a complimentary beverage and a stellar evening with an astronaut. Members who attend will receive a special commemorative pint glass! Not a member but interested in becoming one? Learn more.
