Space Center Houston instructors conduct Stellar Presentations for groups of 30-250 students ages 4-15. Presentations range from 30-50 minutes in length and are aligned with TEKS and National Science Standards.

$350 for two 30-minute presentations | 30 students max.
Our friendly and knowledgeable instructors will take your students on an immersive journey into the wonders of space through interactive presentations. Both presentations must be on the same topic. We suggest that groups with a wide span of ages be divided into two presentations, ex. ages 4-7 and ages 8-11.
Do your students need more science? Add a hands-on activity for $25 per session (adds 15 min presentation time)!

Our friendly and knowledgeable instructors will take a large group of your students on an immersive journey into the wonders of space through interactive presentations. These presentations are available for groups larger than 31 students and up to 250 students.
$350 for 3 hours of dome activities | $100 for any additional hours

Our innovative portable planetarium is a dynamic tool for teaching young explorers about astronomy and space exploration. Students will be immersed in a digital recreation of the sky, to study concepts like celestial motions, or even travel through our solar system and beyond!
Indoor only and needs a space of approx. 20′ x 20′ x 17.’ Schools’ gyms, Cafeterias, and large libraries work well.

Have you ever wondered how astronauts get dressed for a spacewalk or why they need a special suit? Participants will explore “pressure” and how the harsh environment of space affects the human body.
ADD ON HANDS-ON ACTIVITY: BALLOON ASTRONAUT ($25 per group of 30)
Students will design a protective spacesuit to protect their balloon astronaut from harmful micrometeorites.

Imagine your house in space. How would life be different than here on Earth? From wake-up to bedtime, discover what astronauts do onboard the International Space Station to overcome the everyday “hassles” of life.

Find out the history of the crewed space program and the rocket that were used, how rockets work, and what it takes to launch them into space. discover the key components needed to make combustion happen with our thrilling combustion demonstrations. This presentation includes demonstrations involving fire.
All demonstrations are done keeping safety of the viewers and instructor in mind and can be done in a classroom or auditorium environment.
ADD-ON ACTIVITY: AIR PRESSURE ROCKET BUILDING AND LAUNCHING
Students will explore the laws of physics while they build and launch their own rocket using air pressure.

Discover Newton’s laws of motion and the 3 states of matter in a unique way with a variety of exciting experiments from air pressure to liquid nitrogen. They will see what role the laws of motion and states of matter play in spaceflight.
