Rocket Park

Visit George W.S. Abbey Rocket Park, where one of only three of the remaining actual Saturn V rockets is displayed, along with other rockets that propelled space exploration. Don’t miss our new Apollo 13 bronze statue.

Astronaut Training Facility

Visit the iconic Christopher C. Kraft Mission Control and discover the Historic Mission Control from which NASA led Gemini and Apollo missions, including the momentous first lunar landing mission as well as early space shuttle missions.

Parking & Map

Parking at Space Center Houston is $10 and an additional service fee applies. Members get free parking. Guests can pay by phone upon arrival by scanning the QR codes posted around the parking lot and at the entrance to the center. Guests using international phone numbers can visit the Guest Services desk to process payment for parking.

There is ample parking for buses and oversized vehicles. Guests with electric vehicles may use our electric car charging station after purchasing parking.

Maps of our facility are available digitally on our website, on the Space Center Houston app available for Android and iOS mobile devices, as well as on-site printed copies.

Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)

Yes, please time your visit to align with the entry time you chose for your general admission ticket. This time is only for entry to the center, so ensure your choice aligns with the experiences on your to-see list! Entry time denotes the time you will enter the center. We ask all guests to line up in our staging area no sooner than 15 minutes before their entry time.

Are you a member? Skip the line! Members can enter Space Center Houston anytime during regular operating hours.

No, strollers are not allowed on NASA Tram Tours. Please leave your strollers in the stroller parking area adjacent to the tram tour queue.

There is very limited access to restrooms during NASA Tram Tours. Please visit the restroom facilities at Space Center Houston before boarding your tram.

No, there is not a place to purchase food or beverages during the NASA Tram Tour. Please purchase and consume any snacks or beverages before the tour as food is not allowed on the NASA Tram Tour. Only beverages with closed lids (such as water bottles) are allowed on the tour.

Space Center Houston has peak attendance on weekends, holidays and in the summer. We recommend guests arrive as early as possible during these times. We extend hours to accommodate visitors during busy times.

If you are visiting and have special sensory needs, we regularly host Sensory Friendly Events that offer a low-sensory experience for individuals of all ages.

The parking fee does not include in and out privileges.

No, the two virtual reality experiences available are offered at an additional cost.

Yes! The NASA Tram Tour to Rocket Park is first-come, first-served for on-site guests. For the Astronaut Training Facility Tram Tour, you will need to secure a boarding pass from guest services as soon as you arrive–these often sell out.

When you visit guest services, please mention your boarding time for your Historic Mission Control tour so you can get booked for a Astronaut Training Facility Tram Tour that does not overlap with it.
