
Space Center Houston Connected Educators to the Latest in Space Exploration
HOUSTON, Feb. 8, 2022–Space Center Houston’s 28th annual Space Exploration Educators Conference (SEEC) Feb. 3-5 welcomed more than 650 educators from 13 countries during the hybrid conference highlighting what’s happening now in commercial spaceflight. Educators participated in hands-on education sessions, virtual tours and networking opportunities, with access to yearlong on-demand content and tours to continue their learning back home.

Space Center Houston Names New Vice President of Development
HOUSTON, Jan. 31, 2022 – Space Center Houston has named Barrett Shaver as its new vice president of development, joining the center’s senior leadership team, to support the growing nonprofit amid an exciting time in space exploration. Shaver is responsible for the center’s overall philanthropy strategy and membership program. Space Center Houston engages people of all ages with immersive learning experiences and education programs about the future of space exploration and NASA’s journey to return to the Moon and then on to Mars.
