By supporting the Mission to Mars Luncheon, you are contributing to Space Center Houston’s STEM-focused educational programs such as Exploration Academy and Diva Design STEM Academy.

Youth STEM Academies Exploration Academy focuses on middle-school students, particularly underserved, low-income, and those facing academic, emotional or social challenges. Students take part in discussions and lab experiments highlighting science challenges on Earth and on the International Space Station, such as clean water, clean air and renewable energy.

Diva Design targets barriers for women entering STEM fields such as a lack of visible role models and a lack of personal identity with STEM. Diva Design encourages middle-school girls to apply STEM concepts and skills through hands-on, inquiry-based learning.

Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) form the backbone of America’s future workforce as well as of the educational programs offered by the nonprofit Manned Space Flight Education Foundation at Space Center Houston.
